One of the most asked questions that I get when booking a session is, “What place do you recommend?”
I totally get it! Having a beautiful background and multiple photo opportunities is just as important as what you’re going to wear. I have seen so many beautiful places throughout Butler County, and I’m super excited to share my top 5 favs!
5. Cleland Rock
Cleland Rock is an absolutely gorgeous rock that looks over a solid few miles of nature. In the fall time, this rock is absolutely the perfect place for intimate sessions, with all of the leaves changing color and everything. OH MY. I can’t wait till I go back!! This rock is also accompanied by a beautiful open field, perfect for those drop dead gorgeous golden hour photos! Bonus, McConnells Mill is within a 10 minute drive of this beautiful spot!
4. Moraine State Park
Now, this is clearly a generalization mainly because Moraine State Park is such a large park! That’s what I love most about it, you can never run out of photo opportunities, and the views are amazing! Whether you want pictures by the water, down a path, or in a field, this place has it all.
3. Any Private Property
This one is definitely, absolutely, without a doubt dependent on permission, but I love going to private properties! A new set of scenery is always refreshing, plus you can get one of a kind photos! I do have just a handful of private properties up my sleeve, but because I value their trust I’m not going to share them in this post! It’s a privilege to be able to go on another persons property, and is entirely discretionary.
2. Succop Nature Park
This park is well known in the area for its beautiful weddings, and he mansion! There’s so much to love about a brick walkway, low hanging trees, and a big red door on the beautiful mansion is just so inviting and welcome! Not to mention, the beautiful pond!
1. Preston Park
Okay guys, this is my FAVORITE park! It’s my go-to, my holy grail, my old reliable! This park is gorgeous with the multiple sceneries that it offers. I know this park like the back of my hand, and it’s seriously so fun to walk around and just enjoy the breathtaking nature it offers!!
